After completing the June update on the 23rd of the month, Google planned and executed a second update to the spam-fighting software about a week later to fix bugs and streamline operations.

Google’s Most Recent Core Updates

Google issued its announcement of the June Google algorithm update (2021) on the second of that month. The rollout officially began that afternoon around 3:30 p.m. (PT). Before this Google core update (June 2021), the last core update took place in December 2021, and the few previous took place in May 2020, January 2020, and September 2019.

According to many webmasters and SEO experts, the September 2019 core update was the weakest in terms of its impact on user experience from both sides. Subsequent updates made a more significant difference in search rankings, and the July 2021 update is expected to optimize the changes made in the most recent June 2021 update.
